About Distance Reiki
Distance Reiki is a method of administering Reiki that can be used when it isn't feasible for a practitioner and client to meet for an in-person session. Sessions given at a distance are just as powerful and effective as sessions offered in-person.
How does distance Reiki work?
Reiki offered at a distance is just as powerful and effective as the Reiki offered during in-person treatments. The only difference is how the Reiki is administered. When giving distance sessions, practitioners can use a variety of techniques to send Reiki. Depending on the practitioner, approaches may involve visualization, using objects (such as crystals or stuffed animals) to represent a client, or the use of the Distance Healing Symbol. A practitioner can use whichever method they feel most comfortable with. Reiki will always flow to the client, as long as the intention is there for it to do so.
In reality, there is no distance in distance Reiki. Reiki works with intention, and when a practitioner intends to send healing to a client, it will flow to the client whether they are two feet apart or two thousand miles apart. It works the same, regardless of distance.
We as humans are always connected, even if boundaries, space, or time make it seem otherwise. This connection is everywhere, all the time. Reiki is a part of it - and it is unlimited.
